Bath & Blow Dry from £45

A bath and dry can keep the coat knot and mat free for several weeks (depending on the type of coat) and makes it much easier to care for at home (especially for Persian cats). Recommended every  4-8 weeks, depending on coat type and time of year.

NOTE: This is only for coats that are knot, mat and tangle free. If there are knots or mats they will need to be clipped off at a separate session before the bathing appointment, charged at the Knot & Mat Removal rate.  If the coat is very tangled (but not knotty or matted) and needs intensive combing through, that will also need to be undertaken at a separate appointment before bathing. A bath and dry may take up to 1.5 hours

Knot & Mat Removal - from £45 per session

Knots and mats will normally have to be clipped (shaved)  depending on their severity. Small knots or tangles may be able to be teased out and combed through, but this will depend on how tolerant your cat is to the grooming process,  and it is usually kinder to clip the knots out. I will do my best to save as much coat as I can within the comfort levels of the cat. I may recommend that mat removal be completed over a couple of visits to minimise any stress, which will be charged at the current Knot & Mat Removal rate.

Regular Groom & De-Shed from £40

This is a maintenance comb and de-shedding treatment to gently tease out the loose, dead fur that would otherwise contribute to knots and mats. Recommended every 6-8 weeks, although some coats may need a stricter schedule of every 4 weeks, particularly during the winter months. NOTE: Coats that are packed with a lot of loose, dead fur, or are very tangled, will  incur and extra charge.

Hygiene Trim £25

This is a trim which clips the fur shorter under the tail and a little way down the 'trousers' to keep that area hygienic. Sometimes necessary for longhaired cats. If that area is knotty or matted the charge will be the current Knot & Mat Removal rate of £45.
